BayCare and UnitedHealthcare are coming up on a May 31, 2026, deadline to finalize a new contract to keep BayCare in-network.
If no agreement is reached, beginning on June 1 patients on multiple UnitedHealthcare plans could face disruptions in care, higher costs and provider changes. Both sides say they are working toward a deal but differ on pricing.
Both UnitedHealthcare and BayCare Health System have created patient microsites about the matter.
