West Columbia, S.C.-based Lexington Health and Cigna reached a new agreement, set to go into effect July 1.
Lexington Medical Center and its affiliated physician practices went out of network for Cigna commercial members at the beginning of 2026. The May 26 news release said members with cancelled procedures and appointments can reschedule. These patients are being notified of the update through letters and MyChart.
Updates about care received during the lapse period are pending.
