UnitedHealthcare and Corewell Health have reached a multi-year agreement that restores network access to Corewell’s hospitals and providers that were previously out of network. This agreement also maintains continued, uninterrupted network access to all Corewell Health providers and hospitals whose contracts were set to expire later this year.
The agreement is retroactive to May 1, 2026.
In addition, Corewell’s Dearborn, Taylor, Trenton, and Wayne hospitals are retroactively effective to January 1, 2026, for UnitedHealthcare members enrolled in individual/family plans.
Letters are being mailed to members who were previously notified, informing them of the renewed relationship.
