HaysMed is reporting that their contract with BlueCross BlueShield Kansas is scheduled to end on December 31, 2026, and that negotiations are still in progress.
If a new agreement is not reached, the following facilities would be out-of-network with BCBSKS beginning on January 1, 2027:
- Hays Medical Center
- Pawnee Valley Community Hospital
Gove County Medical Center is not included in these negotiations. BCBSKS’ Healthy Blue Medicaid program is also not included.
