The provider contract between Broward Health and Florida Blue expired on June 30, 2025.
However, Nicklaus Children’s Health System is providing health care at two Broward Health locations, and as of March 1, 2026, care from Nicklaus Children’s Health System at these two locations will be considered in-network:
- Broward Health Coral Springs
- Broward Health Medical Center (Fort Lauderdale)
Both parties claim that negotiations continue. Patient microsites have been established by both Broward Health and Florida Blue.
However, there has been no movement since Spring 2026.
