Valley Health and UnitedHealthcare have been negotiating for over a year regarding the renewal of their Medicare Advantage and Group Retiree contracts, which are currently scheduled to expire on September 30, 2026.
This negotiation does not affect Medicare Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP/D-SNP) or Medicaid (UnitedHealthcare Community Plan) members.
UnitedHealthcare has begun the process of notifying impacted Medicare Advantage members about the potential lapse in network coverage.
Discussions are ongoing.
