Oregon Health & Science University and Regence BCBS have announced a new multi-year agreement for employer-sponsored (group) health plans. However, OHSU will no longer be in-network with Regence BCBS for Medicare Advantage and individual plans, beginning on January 1, 2027.
All Regence members may continue receiving in-network care through December 31, 2026. After that, only members with employer-sponsored health plans will be able to receive in-network care at OHSU.

The provider network contract between Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Regence BCBS expired on December 31, 2025. However, a continuation provision in that contract has extended member coverage through December 31, 2026.
On August 13, patients with individual plans and/or Medicare Advantage plans began getting required notices from Regence BCBS about the pending end of the extension. However, the parties continue to negotiate with both sides hoping to come to an agreement that will keep OHSU in-network with Regence BCBS. There has been some recent positive progress in this area.
