BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, Missouri, and Anthem are currently negotiating for renewal of their current provider contract, which expires on December 31, 2026. If a deal is not reached in time, BJC Healthcare facilities will be out-of-network for Anthem policyholders as of January 1.
The following facilities are included in this negotiation:
- Alton Memorial Hospital
- Barnes-Jewish Hospital
- Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital
- Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital
- Christian Hospital
- Memorial Hospital (in Bellville and Shiloh)
- Missouri Baptist Medical Center
- Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital
- Northwest HealthCare
- Parkland Medical Center
- Parkland Medical Center – Bonne Terre
- Progress West Hospital
- Siteman Cancer Center
- St. Louis Children’s Hospital
Washington University School of Medicine providers are covered under a separate contract and are not affected by these negotiations.
