Genesis HealthCare systems has announced that, effective January 1, 2027, they are discontinuing four of their Medicare Advantage and Medicaid provider network contracts, including all three contracts for Medicare Advantage plans with Medical Mutual of Ohio. However, they are open to negotiations from any of the four carriers.
The following hospitals will be affected:
- Genesis Coshocton Medical Center
- Genesis Hospital (Zanesville)
