Main Line Health and UnitedHealthcare have come to “an agreement in principle,” according to both of them.
Among other things, they are extending the current contract past June 30th while they finish negotiating the new one.
Patients should expect no disruptions in coverage, although they should still monitor the situation in case something happens at the last minute.

Main Line Health in the Philadelphia area has announced that they are in active negotiations with UnitedHealthcare. Their current contract is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2026.
If an agreement cannot be reached, care received at Main Line Health facilities will be considered out-of-network for UnitedHealthcare participants for services rendered on or after July 1. This includes:
- Bryn Mawr Hospital
- Lankenau Medical Center
- Paoli Hospital
- Riddle Hospital
