Texas Tech University Health Science Center and Texas Tech Physicians announced they have reached an agreement with UnitedHealthcare.
The commercial and Medicare Advantage agreement will have no lapse in care since the effective date of the new agreement will be retroactive to April 1, 2026.
Patients should experience no further disruptions in coverage, and claims initially processed as out-of-network due to this dispute will be reprocessed without any further action needed.
