Massachusetts released its ACA rate filings on May 26. Although their reported summary combines small group and individual plan rate information, the rate filings themselves differentiate the numbers of covered lives. Using that differentiated information, Charles Gaba calculated the average requested increase as 12.7% for small group plans and 13.1% for individual plans.
